Hi there, folks. Just a few thoughts of the day, since I seem to be suffering from minor writer's block today. Actually, I am just being lazy. Call it spring fever, if you will. Anyway, to get to one of my subjects of the day, I am often amazed at the totally differences of opinions of my reviewers of my books. Let's face it, you can't please everyone. However, I am happy to say, that I do seem to please, at least, a few.

Myself, I like fast-paced reading. Therefore, I do my best to write books that I would like to read. So far, this does seem to make my fans happy. Well, as long as my fans are happy, then so am I. However, there are some readers who have stated that they'd like to see more character build up, take longer in working out the story, etc. I am guessing they want more classical style of writing. However, that is not who I am or how I write. Still, I do have the greatest respect for the truly literary works of the masters. 

If more classical style is what one wants, then they need to look elsewhere. But, if one wants something more fast-paced and contemporary, then my books might be for them.

Most of my vampire books are geared for the young adult, but not all of them. My Powers series was written with my granddaughter in mind. She is one of my biggest fans. Therefore, they are for young adult. I have a somewhat wide variety of works, anywhere from science fiction, horror, murder mystery and, of course, young adult.
